PPOSECUTE 4YO BAY GELDING
Prosecute 4yo bay gelding Lawman – Dissitation (Spectrum)
A big, strong four year old, this son of the top-class sire Lawman has already shown winning form on the flat, and is a tremendously exciting dual-purpose prospect for the future.
Runner-up at Newmarket and a winner over 1m2f at Yarmouth off a mark of 72 in early summer, he went on to record an impressive Racing Post Rating of 84 when runner-up at Haydock in September.
He has done really well for a holiday throughout the winter months, an imposing individual, he looks tailor-made to be a great fun dual purpose horse this season to run at grade 1 tracks on the flat and to go novice hurdling.
He is now back in full training, with a view to start back on the flat in about 2 weeks’ time. However, we also have the option of going over hurdles in the autumn.
He is a half-brother to the J P McManus owned Lettheriverrundry who is a dual winner under the national hunt code earning him a Racing Post Rating of 126.
Longer term, he is one that could also be campaigned in France. A strong-travelling sort which suits the style of racing in France, he qualifies for French Owners’ Premiums, which means that any prize-money earned in France would receive a 55% boost!
He looks a horse with a big future and represented outstanding value at the recent Goffs UK Doncaster November Sale.
